Beachfront resort with huge pools and hacienda style
Opened in July 2005, this 312-room resort overlooks a sandy beach within easy walking distance of downtown Playa del Carmen.
Large suites with hacienda-inspired decor also feature DVD players, jetted spa tubs, and balconies or patios with ocean views.

This oceanfront resort is a five-minute walk to 5th Avenue shops and restaurants, a 20-minute walk to the Cozumel ferry terminal, and is 68 km (42 miles) south of Cancún. Numerous beach activities are available, as are two outdoor pools (one with a swim-up bar), a children’s pool, tennis courts, and a water-sports center (surcharge for rentals). Additional recreation includes miniature golf, table games, a bicycle center (surcharge for rentals), aerobics and aqua-aerobics classes, and daily activities for adults and children (surcharge for most services). An independently operated spa features body and skin treatments, a steam room, sauna, a cold plunge, and other facilities (surcharge). Four restaurants offer a wide variety of cuisine, cocktails are available at three bars--including one with nightly music and dancing--and 24-hour room service is provided. A business center, gift shop, and hair salon are additional amenities.
